Los Seises Sevilla, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Sevilla, Spain Tribute Portfolio
Are you looking for a boutique hotel in the heart of Sevilla? Well, look no further. The building in which the hotel is located has a long history linked to the city's religious community.
The Los Seises Seville Tribute is located in the heart of the city and as such, it is nourished by the essence of Seville. Housed in a building that has been part of the city's history, authentic tiles or Roman ruins, delicious gastronomic experiences and live flamenco performances make up Los Seises Seville. Our room looked out on to the church's bell tower; which if you are a light sleeper - well you get my drift. But I got used to it after a few nights.
And with the hotel being right in the center of downtown and Seville being relativity small, we were able to walk everywhere. It was very convenient.
The hotel has an amazing restaurant that offers breakfast and snacks. And the roof top bar/pool is breath-taking for sunset views and drinks. The staff was beyond helpful for so many things. Especially for dinner recommendations. We never had a bad meal.
While there we literally walk everywhere we went. And saw so many amazing things. A week in Sevilla was not enough. Here are a few highlights we suggest that are fairly close to the hotel.
The Aire baths were amazing. I highly recommend after a long week of walking a lot. And before you get back on a long airplane ride home.
We love aquariums. And Sevilla's was among the top that we have seen for small city aquariums. It was free with the Hop on Hop off bus. So bonus!
Metropol Parasol, which is one of the world’s largest wooden structure, is a canopy formed by knitting together wooden elements. It was very impressive. I love modern architecture, so it was right up my alley.
My favorite by far was Plaza eEspaña Sevilla. Which ironically was free. I could have spent all day there. We made sure to get there early to beat the crowds. But about 100 people had the same idea. I am not sure what time you had to get there to have the place to yourself. It was still beautiful. We came to Seville in February. And this is considered low season. Because it rains a lot at this time and it was 50-60 degrees. We didn't mind. And it kept the crowds way down. I can not imagine this tiny little town at high tourist season. Yikes.
I do want to add a section in here about the food in Sevilla. Most places we go, food isn't a huge thing I remember or thing I tell people after the fact. But in Sevilla - OMG. When I say we didn't have a bad meal, I mean it. AND I had dessert every lunch and dinner. It was all amazing. I gained so much weight. I was really sad leaving. One lunch we went to a store on the street and had fresh cheese, a baguette and Iberian ham (jamón ibérico). It was so fresh. And of course I had fresh pastries for dessert. You just can't do that in the US. Every restaurant had their own house tapas and paella.
